Welcome to ASHTON LANE OCTOBER FEST 07. This is the third year of the October fest, organised by ALPA, the association run by the bar and restaurant owners in Ashton Lane.

Over recent years Glasgow has become universally recognised as one of the world's top tourist cities - no 1 in the UK in the prestigious Conde Nest Traveller magazine. Ashton Lane has become a major element in the city's tourist appeal. Here is what some major guide books have to say:-

WHEN?
From 5pm to late from Friday 19th - Sunday 28th October 2007.

The Lane will be closed to traffic on Saturday's 20th and 27th, and Sunday's 21st and 28th October, and unusually patrons will be able to walk up and down the Lane sampling the food and drink on offer. Expect a farmers market, tasting sessions, street entertainers, cocktail classes, mobile bars and food stalls in the Lane. Live bands and DJs will play in the premises.
